Our CEO, Mr. Samuel Caldwell, Strayer University’s 1st recipient of the Outstanding Alumni Award in 2004, is dedicated to supporting the University’s events. As such, CTS was a proud co-sponsor of Strayer University’s 1st Annual Leadership Conference: Preparing Leaders through Education, Business and Employment on December 5, 2006. Hosted by re-known writer and educator, Professor J.A. Wood, and supported by Strayer Dean Jerome Johnson, over 30 companies participated in the event. Arranged by her Fall 2006 Business and Human Resource students, community members, students and job seekers enjoyed a lively and informative morning of work-shops, career opportunities and guest speakers.
Mr. Samuel Caldwell was the guest speaker at the NWR Sports Banquet at the Navy Yard January 11, 2007. Addressing an audience of athletes, Mr. Caldwell emphasized their shared leadership, commitment and integrity to their sport.
CTS was honored to participate in a Job Fair at Fort Meade’s Army and Career Alumni Center (ACAP) January 24, 2006. The ACAP Contract Installation Manager, Countess Patrick, arranged for a variety of businesses to meet with exiting military personnel and family members. ACAP’s mission is to facilitate a smooth transition into the workforce, while allowing employers to meet and hire individuals who have character, great skills, and experience.
