Community Outreach
On November 14th Samuel Caldwell and William Holmes will be spending the day at
Memorial Middle School in Tampa, Florida supporting the Great American Teach In
(GATI) program. GATI was initiated in 1990 to encourage employees, businesses,
community leaders, sports figures, local personalities, retirees, community
volunteers and parents to become involved in education by sharing what they
know with inner city youth. Volunteers attempt to motivate the diverse student
population about work, career challenges, hobbies and life experiences.
Volunteers provide real life insights into work and careers and reinforce the
importance of education for success in any occupation. CTS will be encouraging
and inspiring inner city youth to succeed in life by supporting Ms. Cathi
Greene and The Great American Teach In (GATI).
CTS is also proud to have Miss Keisha Wright, a senior at Roosevelt High as our
new high school Student Intern. Miss Wright is learning administrative and
computer skills at the CTS corporate office. Keisha is better known as
Roosevelt’s awesome starting point guard who is returning for the 2006-2007
season. As Mr. Caldwell was a factor in her team’s State Champion successes in
2005 and 2006, we are hoping that he can also inspire Keisha to great things in
the world of business. Next year Keisha looks forward to attending either
American University or Georgetown University to major in Computer Science.
