Samuel Caldwell, Head Coach of the All-Navy Basketball Team, will be hosting training camp in our area this month. The All Navy Men’s Basketball Team Trials were held October 13-29.

CTS selected as a finalist for Small Business of the Year

Congratulations are in order to CTS on being nominated and selected as an awards finalist for the Tech Council of Maryland’s Prince George’s Annual Tech Awards Dinner in the Small Business of the Year category. This exciting evening will be held January 25, 2006, at the Stamp Student Union Building on the University of Maryland campus.

CTS has a new partner BAE Systems

Sam Caldwell, CEO, Caldwell Technology Solutions is an assistant coach at Eleanor Roosevelt High School for the girl’s basketball team. And on March 12, 2005 the lady raiders won their first state championship in school history! Coach Caldwell says, “I am happy for the head coach Rod Harriston, coaches John, Kellee, Yolanda and the girls who had been with him on this 7 year journey to bring the program to prominence. I’m glad I was able to be a part of the program and assist in any way I could to help this team.

Congratulations to CTS award winners

Valerie Moore — received the “Hard Charger” for her fast adaptability supporting the CMM effort at DIA. The customer recognized Valerie for her dedication, willingness to learn and the great customer service she has provided to the user community. Valerie has come onboard and truly worked in the true spirit of CTS Core Values of Integrity, Professionalism and Character. Valerie will attend SMS Training next month to continue strengthening her knowledge base and her skills as an outstanding IT professional.

CTS Awarded Prime Contract with the Navy

CTS was recently awarded a Prime Contract from NAVSEA for SeaPort-e. We are extremely honored to be the prime on this effort. It will eventually lead to the addition of several new CTS employees working on various programs for the U.S. Navy.

CEO led the USA Basketball Team to a 3rd Place finish

Finishing 3rd was a big disappointment to me, because undoubtedly we had the best athletes; unfortunately, we failed collectively playing real team basketball. It is very difficult to bring men together from various backgrounds and get them to accept potential roles that they’re not use to for the benefit of the team – and for some egos this could be a real task.

Community Outreach

CTS is currently working with Professor James Dixon at Bowie State University to create internships for Marketing and Business Majors.
